Editorial Policy
Aerogela maintains the directory using an editorial process designed to improve discoverability, reduce obvious listing errors, and keep category pages useful for industry research and sourcing.
Editorial principles
- Relevance: listings should be materially connected to aerogel products, services, research, or the supporting supply chain.
- Clarity: titles, locations, categories, and website references should reflect the organization as accurately as available public information allows.
- Conservatism: when evidence is limited, we prefer narrower wording over overstated claims.
- Correction-friendly: business representatives can request updates through the site workflows.
Sources and editing
We may rely on official websites, public product/service pages, and business-submitted information. Aerogela may standardize wording, categories, and taxonomy labels for consistency across the directory.
Inclusion and removal
- Listings may be added when they appear relevant to the aerogel ecosystem.
- Listings may be edited, merged, or removed if they are inactive, misleading, off-topic, duplicate, or no longer useful to directory users.
Commercial neutrality
Directory presence does not imply endorsement. Users should perform their own commercial, technical, regulatory, and supplier due diligence before relying on a listing.
