How Listings Are Reviewed
Aerogela is an editorial directory. We review listings using publicly available information and selected first-party submissions to improve directory quality, reduce obvious errors, and help users understand the current confidence level of each profile.
Typical review inputs
- Official company or institution websites
- Public product, application, or service pages
- Public contact and location details
- Claim requests and submit-listing information provided through Aerogela workflows
- Internal editorial classification of category, main products, and application fields
What we usually check
- Whether the organization appears active and relevant to the aerogel ecosystem
- Whether the website and public identity match the listing title
- Whether the category, location, and core offering look directionally correct
- Whether the listing needs correction, consolidation, or removal
Review statuses
Reviewed
A Reviewed listing has been checked by Aerogela using editorial review of public information. This means the profile has received a manual quality pass, but it does not mean the business has been independently certified by a third-party authority.
Verified
A Verified listing has stronger confirmation than a standard reviewed profile. In practice this may include a successful claim flow, direct confirmation from the representative, or other higher-confidence validation signals available to the directory.
What review does not guarantee
- Commercial quality, technical suitability, or pricing competitiveness
- Regulatory, safety, export-control, or procurement compliance
- That all information will remain current after publication
Requesting an update
If you represent a listed company and would like to improve or correct a profile, use one of these workflows:
- Claim Listing
- Submit a Listing
- Request Quote / Contact Supplier for communication support
